LASH APPOINTMENT PREP

Avoid caffeine and stimulants - Your eyes must remain calm and they can cause eye fluttering making it harder for your technician to properly adhere lashes.

Shower before your appointment - This will eliminate unnecessary contact with water and steam within the first 24 hours after you appointment. This ensures the adhesive bond between your natural lashes and extensions can properly set.

Arrive with clean lashes and face - Residual oils and makeup will prevent the adhesive from properly adhering and curing, resulting in poor retention. We will ask you to cleanse your lashes, if not done before you arrive, to ensure proper results which can take time away from your appointment.

Avoid oil based products - Do not put anything on or around your eyes prior to an appointment to ensure no product transfers to your lashes during the process. This also helps with securing the bottom lashes with eye pads avoiding slippage.

Remove your contacts - Your eyes will be closed for a long period of time so to avoid any discomfort it is suggested contacts are removed allowing eyes to be in a comfortable, resting state.

Avoid curling your lashes - Your lashes need to be in their most natural and healthy state prior to lash application so we ask you do not curl your lashes the day of your appointment.

Skip mascara, eyeliner and lash serum - These products can produce a barrier that makes it harder for the adhesive to bond with your lashes. For best results, stay away from lash serum for 48 hours prior to your appointment and eye makeup the day of. Please make sure your eye area and lashes are free of any makeup before you arrive to your appointment.

Spray tan at least 24 hours before or after your lash appointment - Make sure your lashes are clean and free of any residual product if you are spray tanning before your lash appointment and that your tan is completely developed or some of the application tools used can remove product from your face. Waiting 24 hours after to spray tan will ensure that the eyelash adhesive is fully cured and will not effect retention.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring headphones - You will be laying down for 1-3 hours so bringing your own music and wearing comfortable clothing can help ensure you are relaxed and enjoy your appointment!
